Fine Cell Work quilt

I have just finished printing pieces for two quilts that I designed as a commission for
Fine Cell Work. They are a charity that works to teach embroidery, quilting and sewing skills to inmates across Britain. Their work is used to make some wonderful products, mainly for interiors, which the prisoners are able to earn money from. Read more about them on their website

I hand printed and dyed the pieces and handed them over to a man called Tony to piece together and hand embroider. I'm pretty excited to see the results. They will be showcased at a fundraising event and sale at the Victoria and Albert Museum. The reception is to tie in with the V&A's exhibition of British quilts which includes a quilt made by prisoners for Fine Cell Work.
