Mud Museum is a mongrel event. Part art installation and part quasi- museum (with ancillary shop). The event is produced by the artists Robert Rush and Rose de Borman and draws its inspiration from a shared love of antiquated ceramics, jewellery and art.
New works produced for the event will include wood fired ceramics including mugs, bowls, plates and drainers. handmade metalwork rings and brooches inspired by medieval forms. Ceramic shrines, funeral urns and other devotional objects to be used as one sees fit.

Prices range between £3 for a small ceramic keepsake of your visit to £3000 for a tabletop grotto.

Robert Rush is an artist and curator based in London. His recent projects have explored the history and production of woodfire ceramics. This culminated in the building of a site specific open source sculpture in the form of a wood fire kiln in the grounds of the Cass Sculpture Foundation, Sussex. He has in the past been selected for the Bloomberg New Contemporaries, The Jerwood Contemporary Painters and the John Moores Contemporary Painting Prize (shortlisted). He studied at Central Saint Martins and the Royal Academy Schools.

Pop Up Shop with Susy Harper

Come along this Friday 5th December to the top floor of the 'Diverse' shop on Upper street, Islington form 6-9 for the opening of a pop up shop I will be selling in in collaboration with Susy Harper and a number of ex RCA jewellers and craftspeople. It will then run for two weeks. The images below are from my stand at Handmade in Britain recently to give a taster although some of this has obviously now sold..

I will be selling my wares at the Designers Makers Winter Fair at the Southbank Centre  16-22 December so put this in your diaries, more about it later.

There will also be an open studio at my print workshop, Printall studios at the beginning of December.
